Black Screen and no installation - AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.8.1

Hey guys,

when I try to install the recently released AMD Adrenalin Edition 22.8.1. for Windows 11 64-bit I get a blackscreen. We all know it's normal to have a flackering black screen but this one remains.

To fix the problem I need to shut down the PC completely. Once rebooted, the installation did not succeed. No software was installed. I tried this three times with the same results. Yesterday I waited 2 hours to make sure the blackscreen remains and installation is not ongoing. 

My GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800

Is this a known problem?

What PSU are you using? are you using separate cables from the PSU or a single daisy chained cable?

Experienced this before.

The only way I found to fix it was to DDU. Even reinstalling Windows didn't help.

Kind of funny that I never had any issues at all on Linux though
