I upgraded from a 3600 to a ryzen 7 5700G and it says my motherboard should be compatible with a bios update ive updated the chipset drivers from amd but Im still getting a boot without a display with my new cpu In please help

well .. did you update your BIOS before swapping CPU's?

i did but i had figured out i was wrong about my motherboard apparently I was looking at the chipsets and not the actual motherboard so it turned out i had a HP motherboard which did not support it so i am currently getting a MSI B550-A pro which should run it fine

Is that Hp motherboard from a prebuilt system from HP?
