Hello. I have an issue with the chipset drivers on the Asus B450-i motherboard (+ryzen 3700x).
My issue:
I have a racing steering wheel Thrustmaster 458 Italia (On my another PC works normally) -xbox360 driver. When I connect the wheel to the any USB than screen starts flashing black. My solution -> I removed the chipset drivers and an issue is gone. I tried three different versions but issue is still here after install the AMD drivers. Also I tried clean windows10 ver. 20H2 - no change.
I have also a Logitech F710 gamepad with the same driver but there is not any issue.
Then you should use your system without installing the AMD chipset drivers. Or you should use an USB 2.0-OR-3.0 multiplexer with AC adapter. The wheel you use probably consumes more power than your other USB devices, and the motherboard cannot provide this power somehow.
No. Power consumption is less, than 10mA (measured via USB dongle)
