Hello,

here are some of the issues that I'm facing after installing latest (yesterday) tgz package for 20.04.*

- amd-pro-pin didn't get installed at all, got some error message for that

-amd-pro-uninstall nowhere to be found

-mining softwares dont regonize rx580's only nvidia, when using hiveos everything works fine but when using like gminer by itself it don't regonize amds

This is 4th or 5th week I'm having these problems.

Here are parts of those error messages that I have after running amd-pro-install:

ERROR: This package can only be installed on Ubuntu 20.04.
dpkg: error processing package amdgpu-pro-pin (--configure):
installed amdgpu-pro-pin package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1

E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
ERROR: Unable to install pin package.
This driver may not support the running operating system.

Please state which Linux distro you use as that would be helpful.

I've tried 18.04, earlier and latest, 20.04 same.

All I got is those error msg, I even try to change kernel and that one ended so that I reinstalled ubuntu.

Did you resolve the issue and have the rx580 working now?

No I didn't, started using hiveos and cards run fine with it.

Have to get back to that (possible) problem later when I find more cards.
