Hi all,

I just tried to put together a new pc for the first time and have encountered a problem with my GPU and it's drivers.

At the moment I have the below warning in my device management:

And when I try to install the driver using the respective AMD Installer I get the following error:

"AMD software detected that the display driver  has failed to load on your system"

Looking more into the events and errors of the driver I find this:

Device PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_7340&SUBSYS_51161849&REV_C5\6&10dfe151&0&00000019 had a problem starting.

I'm very lost on what to do to fix this. I've tried installing a few times, and using AMD cleanup utility to start from scatch.

My current specs are:

Radeon RX 5500 XT

Ryzen 7 3700x

16GB RAM

Asus PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) motherboard

Bit of an update...

So I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I tried using driver easy to manually download the drivers and install them using windows device management.

After rebooting my computer and downloading a few more updates from windows updates I have these messages in the events:

But I still have this message:

I'm very lost on what else to do, or who else I can ask for help

Hey man did you ever find a fix? I'm having the exact issue on my rx 570 card and I'm getting worried that I'll never fix it and would love to know how if you did manage to.

Sorry to say that I didn't. I gave in my pc to a technician and they tried everything, but unfortunately the card itself is a bust. I hope things work out better for you.
