Describe your issue:

I installed AMD Radeon Pro card and its software version.  After installing Radeon card and its software version “winserver2016-Radeon-pro-software-enterprise-18.q3-aug5.exe”.  It seems that the driver is not verified by windows:


I installed the driver. The driver installation stopped “Server Manager,” and I could not start it anymore. When I restarted the computer, it gave me a black screen, and I could not sign to the computer. The only resolution for this was to install win server-2016-Radeon-pro-software-adrenalin-edition-17.12.1-dec11.exe driver and software.


The version 18.03Q should enable the use of Hyper-V with the RemoteFX and GPU Management. These are features that I need. Do I have the wrong card for this purpose or what is the right driver for this purpose?

By any chance is Microsoft Windows® Server 2016 (64-bit version) the same as the OS you are running Windows Server 2016 Data Center 64bit

Because according to the release notes it is compatible with the :

Compatible Operating Systems

AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 18.Q3 is designed to support the following Microsoft Windows platforms:

  • Microsoft Windows® 10 (32-bit and 64-bit version RS4)
  • Microsoft Windows® 7 (32-bit and 64-bit version with SP1 or higher)
  • Microsoft Windows® Server 2016 (64-bit version)
  • Microsoft Windows® Server 2008 R2 (64-bit version)

I installed driver winsvr2016-radeon-pro-software-enterprise-19.q4-nov13 and everything is working

You should mark your last reply as "Correct" since the updated AMD Professional Driver solved your issue and to let other know what fixed your problem.
