AMD Radeon HD 8330 Display Driver version 24.20.13018.6 causes lag in mouse response

Mouse: MS Windows HID Compliant driver version 6.1.7600.16385.

Disabling the AMD driver and using MS Windows VGA adapter version 6.1.7600.16385 solves the mouse issue but disables the sleep/hibernate option in the Windows shut down menu.

Computer is Hewlett-Packard HP Pavilion TS 14 Notebook PC, 1.50 gigahertz AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon HD Graphics, Board: Hewlett-Packard 216D 31.0F Serial Number: PDVUP028J5H1P2. OS: Windows 7 32 bit Professional (down grade from Windows 8.1) with Windows Update status being current.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hello,

It is a driver problem.

The AMD A4-5000 (and maybe others) combined with the HD 8330 gives problems in windows 10.

I already tried different versions of the adrenalin driver with the same result. Everytime after installing the graphic drivers the mouse keeps freezing half a second every +/- 2 seconds.

Finally i installed a clean install of windows 8, installed the crimson drivers for windows 8 (instead of the adrenalin for windows 10) and everything works fine.

Appearently it is a driver issue. AMD should fix this but appearently they won't.

Until then the only option is to use windows 8.

Good luck.

Unfortunately AMD won't fix any driver issues since the APU is legacy and not supported anymore by AMD.

That is unless the Laptop Manufacturer comes up with its own VGA Driver that will fix any issues with AMD Driver.
