AMD R7

I have an HP computer with an R7 driver but wasn't able to find the series so I downloaded the auto detect tool. It updated my drivers and everything worked fine for about a week. Today it crashed twice and my Win 10 is running slow.

Should I uninstall it and install the R7 driver? If so, how do I find my series? The computer is an HP-15bw 032wm.

Thanks

hi,

1. do a fresh install of Win10 20H2
2. disable Win10 auto-driver-install
3. download latest AMD driver

test again

btw - your laptop would be more speedy with a SSD

ps you could send us a picture of your running taskmanager (processes tab)

Thanks, I have the correct drivers now. Should I uninstall the auto detect program before I install the new drivers?

you dont need to uninstall the chipset drivers

just check "factory reset" when you install the new driver (you will reboot - and installation will resume after reboot)

I haven't installed Win10 20H2 yet because I have this error message (screenshot attached). Do i leave the driver updates blank (screenshot attached)and go ahead and install Win10 20H2? Then proceed with the uninstall and install of new driver?

That's what it looks like but want to make sure. Thank you for your patience.
