AMD GPU temperature reading of the Radeon Software

Hello forum members,

I am really bad with computers so I'm sorry if the following question might be weird. I have bought an ASUS VivoBook last month, it is equipped with the Ryzen 5500 u processor with integrated Radeon graphics. I have downloaded the Radeon Software to monitor the notebook but the temperature reading of the GPU is strange. When the notebook does normal office or browsing tasks the reading says it is at around 35-40 degrees celcius but then it suddenly skyrockets to 42000 degrees. The temperature reading of the task manager doesn't do that, it stays at around 40 degrees. Is the reading of the Radeon Software just faulty or could the processor have a problem? The notebook froze for the first time today after switching on, it works fine again but I am slightly worried.

Thanks for reading and maybe a reply.
