I'm using a Seiki 4k TV (se39uy04) for a monitor. At 4k resolution, it runs at 30Hz. 1080 resolution, it runs at 120Hz. Before updating to the current version of Radeon (I don't recall my previous version, probably 18.something), any time I changed my monitor's resolution to 1080, it would automatically go to 120Hz. When I went back to 4k, 30Hz. No problem.
Now when I switch from 4k to 1080, I have to manually update the Adapter Driver settings to "List all Valid Modes" and then select the "1920 by 1080, True Color (32 bit), 120 Hertz" option. If I don't, then I only get 30Hz in 1080.
This is really annoying. I used to be able to configure my games to run in full screen mode at 1080 resolution so all I had to do was load a game put the monitor in 1080/120Hz mode. Now I have to change windows resolution, update the Adapter Mode, and then load the game.
How can I make the Adapter settings remember the Mode?
