A huge number of dropped frames on YouTube while hovering mouse cursor over the context menu items (in Chrome)

I have an AMD Radeon RX Vega M GH Graphics.

I open any video on YouTube in Chrome and go into full screen mode. In Firefox, everything is smooth and without any problems  What is even more absurd is that after launching "Action!" (program from the Polish company "Mirillis") this problem disappears What the hell is going on?! You can also get rid of this problem if you open the chrome://flags/ page and choose "D3D9" or "OpenGL" instead of "D3D11" for the "Choose ANGLE graphics backend" option At first I thought the problem was in Chrome. But many others do not have this problem in Chrome!

It seems that the problem is in the AMD Radeon graphics driver.

You would need to contact Intel support for that product.

I guessed that the first answer I would get would be just that. Intel only slightly modifies drivers originally written by AMD, so only AMD can fix this problem.

Report it to Intel, and they should/would request a fix from AMD if it is required.

Sorry to hear of your issues. There are many complaints with the current drivers with playback related issues. A work around you might wish to try until a future driver fixes the issues properly would be to disable hardware acceleration in the browser settings. 

You are likely not wrong about the driver code beginning at AMD, but just like with Apple supported AMD products you go through the company that released the product.

Regardless even if you want to talk to AMD you are not doing that in these forums. These forums are USER TO USER only, not AMD support personnel supported. Nobody from the driver team ever comes here that I have seehn. It explains this in the links in the forum headers.

If you would like to open a support ticket with AMD I am sure you can. They may just send you back to Intel, I don't know. Regardless the following link is the only way to get 2 way support with AMD:  Online Service Request | AMD 

If it were me I would report the issue to Intel, Google and AMD. No harm in letting them all know about the issue. Attack the problem from all fronts.

If you try to record video from the Desktop using the Bandicam app or the Radeon ReLive function built into AMD drivers, the problem disappears and it is impossible to reproduce it. That's why I had to record video on a smartphone For some reason I don’t know, with the Action! application running in the background, the problem also cannot be reproduced

I tried the latest version of AMD drivers at the moment (Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1 Optional (WHQL); Release Date: 10/17/2019). The problem still remains!

Firefox also does not work perfectly until I run the "Action!" program in the background (https://mirillis.com/en/products/action.htmlhttps://mirillis.com/en/products/action.html).

 

Once again installed the old graphics drivers (24.20.11026.2001; Release Date: 9/26/2018). With these drivers, I do not see this problem

Also, this problem does not exist for those who use Intel integrated graphics or NVIDIA discrete graphics card. So I believe that the problem is in the graphics drivers, not in individual programs. Everything points to it!

 

Please report this problem to AMD! I tried, but no response

It sucks that they don't respond. I get it, been there. Just make sure to keep reporting it for every new version that does not fix or acknowledge it as a known issue.

The problem is almost imperceptible on video with 24/30 frames per second. That is why I have already begun to think that in the old version of drivers this problem does not exist at all

The issue is not resolved! The problem still remains!!!

It seems that the problem appears only in fullscreen mode in web browsers (possibly in some other software too). In Firefox, on YouTube, there is no such problem, but it is present elsewhere in this web browser:
1. Open Firefox and load this page (for example): https://nightmarish-dream.ru/forum/topic/771-devushki/page/215/ 
2. Go to fullscreen mode by pressing the F11 key.
3. After that, try to drag and drop any image. When you start dragging, you will notice obvious slowdowns, which are not present in windowed mode.

Here is a clear proof that the problem with a probability of 99.9% is in AMD graphics drivers, and not in modern web browsers. Firefox also doesn't work well with the latest AMD drivers: https://mega.nz/#!yUEkiSZR!cL4dAzI5cJs3LY5IYz9Fp9_4FF_g4Kt1b-ALI0TuXps

It is possible that other programs also work incorrectly. I dont' know.

P. S. Why not AMD implement the magic of "Action!" and "OBS" in their graphics drivers?

As has already been explained, all support for your product is only available from Intel.

I would suggest you post details of your issue on the Intel forums.
