Ever since I installed my reference 7900XTX I have been experiencing lock ups for no reason. It usually happens when I am not in a game but can happen if the game is running in the background. I can hear the game audio still playing but the computer is totally frozen. System was working just fine with my 5700xt.

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. Mouse freezes, keyboard doesnt work. Have to power down.

Doesn't do it in games though. Happened about 4 times now on the first day of install.

I have Sapphire Pulse.

Same, I got an 7900 XTX, All 3 monitor goes black With power saving mode as they dont received any signal from the card. Cant unsleep it. Need to force a shut down and reboot the PC. Happening every day without any notice but mostly on Idle. If the card got Load from a game this dosen't happen.  Driver Up to date. Putting back my 1070 fix the issue. So clearly an AMD driver side one and not component

Same! as soon as I switched to a 4090 issue GONE.
