5700 XT Not 8bit Color Depth when using a Custom Resolution

My Setup

2 monitors:
Viewsonic ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD  (MAIN)
LG 27UL600-W (SECONDARY)

GPU:
AMD Sapphire 5700XT Nitro+

Radeon Software 20.4.1

OS: Windows 10 PRO 1909 x64

Both Monitors connected via DisplayPort, with freesync enabled using two of Club3D VESA Certified CAC-2068 DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4  cables.

When I enable a Custom resolution for the Viewsonic monitor, Windows and Radeon Software, are reporting the ColorDepth has decreased from 8bpc to 6bpc.

I tried a couple of settings in the custom resolution, but were in vain.
When creating this custom resolution, I'm just changing the refresh rate from 144 to 143 OR 142 Hz.

When I manually change the Color Depth from Radeon Software, from 6 bpc to 8bcp, both screen flashes, 8 bpc remains selected for 2-3 seconds, then the screen flashes again back to 6 bpc.

I need to use custom resolution, because this ViewSonic Monitor has an issue with flickering, and the workaround is to use a custom resolution with minus one (-1)  or  minus two (-2)  Hz.

Same issue here, using Mi Monitor Curved 144Hz with 5700XT Nitro+

Use the CRU program and create a new resolution there with a lower refresh rate, then you will get 8 biobraz_2020-11-18_003242.png
