I just updated my drivers about an hour ago because I wanted to try to clean up the performance of Jedi: Fallen order.

Upon completing the driver update and restarting my pc, i decided to try battlefront 2 a spin...and it was awful. The fps was garbage, in the single digits and it took forever to even load in. I'm utterly disappointed, can someone please help me return back to the previous driver version?

Dunno even iam stuck with my 5500 xt. Really disappointed by random driver crashes and some.

I noticed a similar issue with performance with a 290X. FPS dropped, and the core clock was consistently lower, as though it were stuck in a cool & quite mode. Looked everywhere in the software, and changed everything that could be responsible. Nothing helped.

Rolling back to 19.10.1 helped.

Does rx 5500 xt support 19.10.1?

No it doesn't unfortunately.

People have been reporting success with 19.12.1. You could try that.
