Hi,

I just saw on the driver download page that a new version of the 20.8.3 driver seems to have been released. Both the filename (win10-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-edition-20.8.3-sep8.exe) and the date of the signature (Sep. 8th) suggest that this is a new file, but after installation, the software shows August 26th as release date.

Does anyone know the purpose of this "update"?

I saw this also. The release notes appear to be the same. AMD has done this in the past although I cannot answer why they've done it this time. I guess we wait and hope someone knows.

Most optional drivers are reposted after they receive WHQL certification.
