This is why I am wondering what gives with the 25 Mhz idle clock

Now I wonder what the RDNA cards are doing at idle, MSI Afterburner seems to be good at managing a video card's power and monitoring etc

Its the powerplay causing this, utter garbage, we need our Power Efficiency back.

Hopefully they are listening because I see other threads regarding such low GPU usage.

This is why the screen blacks out, powerplay doesn't know what its doing, its constantly downclocking the core/voltage.

maybe you should abandon powerplay and use the windows 10 default power management features

You cannot disable Powerplay on the VII.

You would think I would have disabled it by now.

i have an RX 5700XT and first i had alot of problems suddenly they came with a stable version... next thing Radeon Adrenaline 2020 and there came the errors, but for now with Driver version 20.1.4 its stable didn't have any problems since release!.

which videocard do you have?
