PC building horror stories - PC Gamer I'm sure we have all had some stories to tell. I think the worst thing i've done was plug usb pins in wrong and fried a USB flash drive. What the worst thing you have done?
Well my brother bent the CPU pins on his LGA1155 motherboard. Don't worry, got it fixed.
I, in my childhood days jammed a floppy disk into the floppy drive upside down and that caused the system to fail to boot.
I also managed to fry a microSD card by messing with the bootloader unlock process on my Xperia Z1 Compact. I was playing too smart with the non-persistent custom recovery, just to avoid a data wipe (a factory reset aka data wipe is mandatory after a bootloader unlock). Never again.
