I record games through obs, and when i click record video more 1 and 2 times obs ceases to react on the button video recording
upon attempt close obs - obs continues to hang in the tray
and you can close it obs only through the task manager

I've had the same issue and had to rollback the drivers so I can record with OBS. Hopefully, AMD will look into this.

I check out the OBS forums and it appears that the remedy to this is to use the balance preset; and that the issue probably has to do with OBS compatibility than AMD--meaning no one on the OBS project has worked on making the new driver compatible.

i has same problem... i return driver 21.5.2... to use encoder amd whit obs...

Any found solution??

Today's diver update 9/13/21, seems to have resolved the issue. I tried recording with H.265 and it worked like normal. However, the patch notes said that OBS might sometimes still run in the background after you finish recording and closing out.
