I have a custom loop containing a Barrow D5 pump and glass reservoir moving approx. 350 l/ph. This runs through a Bykski water monitor and then feeds an AMD Radeon RX580 water block by Bykski, then an AM4 Ryzen 9 5950x cooler by Bykski then through a 240x40mm copper rad and a 360x30mm copper rad before re-entering the reservoir. Now, My temps in the system are as follows. Water temp: 30c GPU: 30c CPU: 70c. These are at idle with approx 2% CPU usage. This is after replacing a Freezemod cpu cooler which was showing 79c at idle. So, I gained some cooling with the new CPU block, but even at the reported temps, the metal CPU block feels as cool as the rads, tubing and reservoir. Is it possible that the CPU diode or whatever detects the temperature is off and if so, How would I take a true reading? It makes no sense that every thread I read, most report an idle temp within the 30-40C marks and those are the temps I have in the whole system except for the CPU. My Motherboard is an Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4. I have even tried curve optimising, several times, but it would seem that I have a bottom of the batch CPU, because every time I attempt to run it, at some point, my system ends up BSOD. So I have stopped trying. The thermal paste is Noctua NT-H2 and was just replaced last week when I installed the new CPU block. Oh, and the CPU block was lapped before I installed it. Checked with a razor and it is completely flat. Now, I will add that this CPU was not always this way. It seems to have gotten worse after the curve optimization had a catastrophic failure. When I first purchased this CPU, I downloaded Ryzen Master to do a curve optimization on it and lower the temps. I have never overclocked it as I wanted the lowest temps. I could achieve. So, I ran the curve optimizer on a core by core basis and ended up with most, if not all of the cores at -30 for running voltage. Then a few months later I had a bsod. Rebooted and everything was defaulted. This was when I noticed the temps were way up. I tried the curve optimizer again and it will not complete, crashing me to bsod, or locking. This is EVERY time I run the core by core Curve Optimizer. I believe I got a CPU that should have been an 8 core, due to major core instability.

please tell me what your are your settings on each core value in curve optimizer and what watts your set at please???
As I mentioned, every time I try to run curve optimizer, the system crashes with BSOD. Before it started doing this, It ran fine for months, with each core at or around -30 There were two or three that ran around -20. Then it would not hear of even a -10. Which I even tried to set manually, and never had the system crash on me, but programs run in the foreground would close out of nowhere. Restarting them they would close within a minute, so I went back to stock settings. So the cores are at full stock settings.
Does it crash when everything is set to default? It doesn't appear that everything is set to default based on the readings in Ryzen Master.
I would set your motherboard back to defaults, and then reset CMOS. Make sure they system is stable.
From there, make sure you have the latest chipset drivers from AMD and version of Ryzen Master. You can then reset you RAM timings and again make sure the system is stable.
Then slowly add your curve optimizer settings back in.
The screenshot of Ryzen Master shows that it is not displaying the correct voltages, temperature or power. Try reinstalling RM and make sure you are using the latest version.

HWMon is indicating a CPU VDD of 1.4V+ which if true would definitely explain the high temps. You may want to uninstall RM completely and then load optimized BIOS defaults.
I remover RM and reset bios to UEFI defaults. It didn't seem to change anything as far as voltages were concerned. I may just purchase another CPU to check if the same issues are present. If I can run core optimizer on a new one without the BSOD. then I will know it is a crap CPU. If the same issues are present, then it is most likely the MB.
Make sure you reset CMOS as well. Sometimes there are settings, especially within the AMD Overclocking UEFI menu that aren't reset simply by resetting the BIOS to defaults.
It might be worth a review of all of your BIOS settings to make sure that ASRock isn't applying any performance boosting settings by default. Also, check CPU usage for background programs. 54W seems kind of high for idle, though I haven't checked mine recently. I'll try to remember to check when I get home.
I'm getting around 40w of package power at idle with a -15 Curve Optimizer on all cores, so 54 might be a little high, but not impossible without CO.
