Windows Remote Desktop Connection problem

I found an interesting problem.

When I execute CAL and/or Brook+ program via Windows Remote Desktop Connection from remote machine. It fails to run.

Error messages are something like this.

================================

Could not release constant ring memory

Could not free constant ring memory

...

failed to initialize CAL. falling back to CPU...

================================

It runs fine without remote desktop connection.

I guess this problem is somethign to do with display system of windows remote desktop.

Any thoughts or clues?

I agree with you. CUDA is failure with Windows remote desktop connection, too. I thinks they should run successfully via VNC, but I didn't try it.

Yes, windows remote desktop interferes with the CAL.

VNC works, but make sure you turn off what they call the "mirror video driver" or "video hook driver" (as in UltraVNC).
