Hi,
I'm working on an application that itself provides a developer API. We'd like to easily allow your customers to develop modules that use OpenCL against our API. As such, it would be convenient if we were able to ship OpenCL.lib from the Windows APP SDK with our application. The LICENSES file says
"[...] you may not: [...] distribute or create derivative works
based upon the Software in whole or in part"
does that apply to also to OpenCL.lib?
Solved! Go to Solution.
sschuberth,
The OpenCL.lib is owned by khronos and you need to contact them for permission to distribute it. AMD, as members of khronos, has permission to redistribute, but we cannot grant redistribution rights to other users. Khronos can be contacted by going to their website here, http://www.khronos.org/.
Thanks, I'll try that!
