radeon 3200 9.3 binary driver

radeon 3200 9.3 binary driver on linux

I have the radeon 3200 motherboard. I run linux, centos x86_64.

When my kernel changes from a "yum update"

and I reboot, the driver HANGS. I have to get a linux rescue disk

and boot into single use mode to recompile the driver.

How can I get around this???

When installing the RPM from (--buildpkg) can I specify WHICH kernel

to compile for. So I can recompile the driver before I reboot and compile it

for the right kernel?

geisj,

I believe this question is not for AMD's developers.

System vendors should provide support for any packages.
