OpenCL 1.0 support on Radeon HD 2000/3000?

Hi,

According to the ATI Stream SDK 2.2 download page, OpenCL is only supported on Radeon HD 48xx and 5xxx.

However, when running Stream KernelAnalyzer 1.6, the dropdown list in the right pane lists GPUs starting with the Radeon HD 2400.

Is there any kind of OpenCL support on Radeon HD 2000/3000s?

Cheers,
Fred

SKA can support Brook+/CAL on Radeon 2XXX/3XXX series of cards, OpenCL is only for devices using the 7XX chips or later.

Thanks.

I understand what CAL is (I also believe there is no interop with OpenGL, which is one thing I am interested in), however I don't know what Brook+ is - does it have something to do with BrookGPU and the Close to Metal compiler?

Thanks,
