Hi,

I know it is probably a stupid question - but what are APIs available for the debugger developer?

For instance there's a possibility to set up hardware breakpoint in HSAIL, but how is it supposed to be caught and processed by the debugger?

Is there any documentation on it/

Currently there are no defined or exposed debugger interfaces is the provisional HSA specification. However, when the HSA specification document is finalized it is expected that debugger and profiling interfaces will be defined. After finalization, those interfaces will be adopted by AMD's HSA runtime implementation, but no timeframe for this has been established yet.

Is there any progress for the tool interface ? As a tool developer, we'd like to be involved in the API, especially tool interface.

The HSA tool interface is something decided by the HSA Foundation, not AMD. For any information regarding a interface of schedules, contact the HSA foundation.
