I'm trying to implement full multithreading support for my graphics engine and i'm wondered that AMD does not support hardware command lists.
There is no perfomance increase in MultithreadedRendering11 sample from DXSDK(from 1 to 0.8 slowdown), while NVidia GPUs shows near 1.5 speedup!
My system is:
AMD 7870 1 Hgz edition
Catalyst 13.1
DirectX 11 was fully released at 2009. 3+ years and this "must-have" feature is not implemented? Why? And will be implemented?
AMD can gain really good performance in most of new games with HW command lists...
