I have a problem to run CodeXL via remote
I have the following system:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2609 v2 @ 2.50GHz
2x AMD R9 270
latest Ubuntu and latest Drivers
I open a ssh console via putty on a windows machine with X11 forwarding (using Xming to display ui). I get the following error message.
I used the deb package to install it on the server, installed everything to /opt/AMD/CodeXL_1.5-5364 directory and started CodeXL from this directory:
Error Message:
"CodeXL error: Error: A Server supplied with CodeXL (opengl32.dll or OpenCL.dll) was loaded into the "CodeXL-bin" application process, but the "CodeXL-bin" application was not launched using CodeXL!
Did you copy a CodeXL Server into the "CodeXL-bin" application directory? (/opt/AMD/CodeXL_1.5-5364)
CodeXL error: Error: CodeXL failed to attach to the debugged application (CodeXL-bin)
The debugged application will now exit."
I tried the same with Kubuntu virtual machine (installed the deb package to the same location), forwarding X11 to my windows machine like described above and it works.
Can anybody tell me whats wrong here?
