What can't this be done?
We have developed an industrial robotic application in which the monitors are physically rotated. I am trying to change the screen orientation to match and all of the machines with ATI Radeon HD video cards will not accept the ChangeDisplaySettingsEx in the Windows API. I have Googled this and it seems to be quite a common question, however, no one has answered as to why this can't be done with the Windows API.
We have tried iRotate on these machines and every one of them change the screen orientation with iRototate. So I know this can be done just need some one to point me in the right direction as to how.
Does ATI have its own API?
