I am using the Windows Vista running GPU program. This program will run for about 7 hours, and call the GPU code more than ten thousand times. However, when it runs for about 4 hours, this program will abort. The reason is as follows: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/display/wddm_timeout.mspx
According to the CAL_FAQ, I have added the TdrLevel entry in the registry, but it doesn't work.
Therefore, could anybody give me some advice? Thanks.
By the way, if I change the OS to Linux, will this situation happen again? Thanks again.
