The Catalyst Control Center recently added an automatic update feature. This is very useful for maintaining my Catalyst installations at the latest release level. I find the automatic update settings under the Information section of Catalyst Control Center in Advanced View. This section is present on a desktop installation for an ATI Radeon HD 4890 GPU. On a laptop installation for an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT this section is missing. Both installations are running Catalyst version 11.7. Why is the automatic update feature missing from the Catalyst Control Center 11.7 for the Mobility Radeon?
