I am unable to run the teapot example.

This is what I do:

1. Open CodeXL

2. Click "Load Teapot Sample"

3. Click the green arrow (Run/F5)

Nothing happens except I get the following message in the "Properties" box in the lower left hand corner:

Reason SIGSEGV

Address 000000000000000000

Details Invalid memory reference

I am using:

CodeXL 1.1

Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit

AMD Catalyst 13.4 (installed manually, downloaded from the AMD website)

My graphics card is an AMD HD5800 series

I am able to run the teapot example outside of CodeXL.

try starting CodeXL from the terminal, that way you can see some error messages.

also consider upgrading to version 1.2 of CodeXL
