CAL bug on OpenSuse 11.1

Some samples cannot run, while simpliest (hellocal, simple_matmult) run correctly.

OS: openSuSE 11.1 x86_64, kernel 2.6.27
Driver: 9.2
Radeon 2600XT

SIMPLE_MATMULT:
Supported CAL Runtime Version: 1.3.145
Found CAL Runtime Version: 1.3.158
Program: simple_matmult Sizes - A: 256x256 B: 256x256 C:256x256
Verify: F Verbose: F Quiet: F

(0256x0256)    67.109 5.162     0.0010        0.0130

I'm interesting if this performance is correct for this card ?

same problem here: FireStream 9270, OpenSUSE 11.1

OpenSUSE 11.1 uses gcc 4.3.2, could this be the problem?

No, the precompiled binaries don't work either. So it really has to be driver/system issue.

Hi

I managed to have two 4870X2 running in my opensuse 11.0 box. Precompiled binaries don't work but if recompiled (there are some silly bugs to correct in the sources to make them compile in opensuse 11.0, with gcc version 4.3.1 ) everything works perfectly.
