I was thinking about the dreaded "Vertical Sync" signal slowing down graphic processing.
I think i've come up with and answer for it.
If you have double-sided ram
Where you can write to one side at the refresh rate ,
And then a switch clicks and sets all second side ram bits to their value in one clock cycle..
Then there would be no need to wait for a "V-SYNC" the ram would update as fast as it can be written.
Then double / tripple buffering would be a thing of the past..
