Asus VG248QE with MSI r7970 Lightning 144hz youtube Problem

Jump to solution

So i just bought a new 144hz display cause my friends told me they where awesome,

And truth be told they are. But when i use 144hz and try to look at a youtube video it compleatly crashes the grafics card gray/white lines over the whole diplay.

My grafix card has no Dual DVI ports so i bought a diplayport 1.2 cable instead. Everything seems to work proparly when playing games and such, vlc works too but youtube doesnt.

im using mozilla firefox with ''Adobe flashplayer 16 NPAPI''.

How i have counterd this problem so far is i lowered the refreshrate to 120hz, never had a problem with 120hz.

Im running the CCC omega driver, have also tried with the beta but no luck there

would like to run on 144hz when i payed for it so if u could help me with this i would be greatful

PC spec:

Intel i5 2500k

Asus p8p67 evo

Kingston HyperX 1600mhz CL9

MSI r7970 Lightning

XFX 850W PSU

Windows 8.1

Kevin,

My apologies for a delay in replying. I was out for a week, and I'm just catching up.

This forum is for software developers, not for resolving hardware compatibility problems. All I can do is point you to a place where you might get an answer. See http://devgurus.amd.com/thread/170050 - our FAQ on where to get hardware help for AMD-based products.
