AMD APP KernelAnalyzer CLI

How to use?

Hi,

As it seem impossible to retrieve the information on resource usage in any other way I have started to try to use the KernelAnalyzer from the command-line. The GUI is kind of cumbersome as I want to export the results into some graphs.

I have read the Documentation, however a few question I could not figure out for myself:

  1. The documentation claims, that for -ASIC I can pass multiple ASICs in Analyze or CSV mode. However, I have been unable to figure out how to do that. If I pass two -ASIC options the second seems to override the other. If I use something like "-ASIC HD5870 HD5970" I get a broken (more or less empty) output file.
  2. Is there a way to select which statistics to output in CSV mode? It seems in CSV mode the output is missing essential information like the register counts which are there in (verbose) analysis mode and in the GUI.
  3. As the analysis mode dumps all the data I am interested in. Is there a way to get it to accept wildcards?

Thanks for any answers!
