Hi,
I just installed the 9.3 driver, the hotfix for Windows XP, and the 1.4 beta software on my system ( AMD Athlon 6000, 4MB Ram, ATI Radeon 3600 HD Graphics adapter, Windows XP professional, Visual Studio 2008).
When I run the pre-compiled examples, they seem to run ok. When I try to build them, however, I get the message "brcc_d.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.". The associated exception code is 0xc0000005 at address 0x0000000000471b7d.
Can anyone shed any light on what is going wrong here? Thanks in advance for the help...
I forgot to mention that this occurs when building the brook+ examples ...
CAL seems to work ok, so I can only assume that "Brook" should be pronounced "Broke"
Brcc is dependent on VS 2005 SP1 MSVC* libraries. To resolve this problem you need to install VS redistributable package on your system from the following links depending on your OS-

Thanks for the tip - I have to retract my previous comment since it was in fact a user error on my part!
I too get error like this..
