Hello,

i downloaded http://www2.ati.com/sdkdwnld/amdstream-1.3.0_beta-lnx64.tar.gzip and converted the including CAL rpm to a tar.gz. But i cannot find any library in it (no /usr/local/amdcal/lib* folder). Is it missing or am I doing sth wrong?

Perhaps the libraries have been moved to the driver?

Hi tedo,

rahulgarg is correct. ATI Stream SDK v1.3-beta requires Catalyst 8.12 or later. We've moved the CAL libraries into the driver install and they are installed in the default system directories.

I apologize for the confusion! I've put in a request to have the SDK download site annotated with that requirement.

Thanks for your help, it works now.

I was confused, because in one included pdf in the CAL package the /usr/local/amdcal/lib* folder is still mentioned (CAL_Installation_Notes.pdf pg. 2).
