GPU ShaderAnalyzer for Linux???

Is there a Linux version of the GPU ShaderAnalyzer?  In particular, x86-64 Linux? (in my case openSuSE 10.2)

Not that I know of... I haven't tried it myself, but see if somehow it works with wine...  I mean, all it does it turn code into gpu assembly right?

Jeez I almost got render monkey to work in linux too (which would be mucho convienient for an algorithm test bed)... But well there's some issues with wine and the way it detects glx extensions... IE it uses version numbers from glx info or something which reports 1.2 erroneously...

Ah well... it would be nice if that all worked, but not being able to play windows games well in linux gives me more reason to make my own linux games .

Responses from the Stream Development Team:

"No, unfortunately, such a thing does not exist. I’m not sure there are plans to create it, either."

"I think it’s more of a resource issue. After all, the shader analyzer can be fully useful when run on a laptop next to a Linux development platform -- the code analyzed by the GSA is OS agnostic."
