Has AMD implemented BLAS for the Radeon?

It appears there's a BLAS implementation for the Nvidia GPU; is there one for the Radeon? 

If not, when?

We have ACML-GPU which you can request if you are interested by emailing the email address on the stream website.

The folks at AMD/ATI have said that the Radeon 4870 (RV770 GPU) based ACML (that includes BLAS):

    1. is 5-6 times faster than Intel's MKL when comparing dgemm(...) performance.
    2. will be available sometime between mid to end of Noverber, and
    3. will work on an Intel box (will work with an Intel CPU).
