Feature Request / Progress Update on Adaptive Sampling for Multiple GPU?

Is it possible to have a status update for the Adaptive Sampling feature of RPR when used on Multiple GPUs (or multiple devices)?

This feature is one of the most important features of RPR preview rendering when you're stuck on a MacBook Pro with a dGPU and have a powerful eGPU. Adaptive Sampling currently does not work and you're not allowed to disable the MacBook internal dGPU to actually use Adaptive Sampling on the eGPU for preview.

So performance and reliability of RPR with the above setup is massively hindered.

The work around was to disable GL Interop (set it to False) so that the eGPU could do preview and use Adaptive Sampling but that just crashes.

Any update on Adaptive Sampling with Multiple Devices would be great.

Thanks.

No update, but we've logged the bug.  It will be noted in the release notes when adaptive sampling on multiple GPUs works.

So we have this fixed in RPR core.  It will take a few weeks to get into the plugin though.
