Hi. I've picked up an acer aspire 5560 and have done a fresh Windows 8.1 install but after installing the graphics drivers, the laptop hangs on reboot. I've tried several different versions of the drivers. The only way to get in after that is by going into safe mode and disabling the drivers. I've searched for days for a fix for this but I haven't found one. Please can someone help?

First...what are your laptop specs INFORMATION REQUIRED WHEN POSTING A QUESTION

All 'critical', 'recommended', and 'optional' (no language packs,etc) updates as well as any Service Packs (SP) must be installed before any attempt to install graphics drivers. Sorry. Acer aspire 5560 laptop

Amd a6-3400 apu with radeon integrated graphics

Radeon hd 6520g

Radeon hd 7400m series

6gig ram

Win 8.1 64bit

I did try installing all the updates first but I'll try it again. Thanks  I'll let you know

Hi. I tried what you suggested. I installed all the updates before I installed the drivers.

Windows still does not load once the graphics driver is installed 

Is there anything else I could try?
