I'm posting on the forums today because I'm having an issue with displayport and my RX 580. I'm currently using an LG 34UC79G for my monitor and a PowerColor RX 580 Red Devil Golden for my GPU. The issue I'm running into is, I get consistent black screens that last anywhere from 2-5 seconds at a time. It's worse in some games than others, I've RMA'd both the monitor and GPU once, however, the problem is still persistent. The only fix that works for me is setting the color depth in radeon settings from 8 bpc to 6bpc, it really washes the colors out on my monitor. Is there any work arounds for this right now? I've read that AMD has released drivers with specific monitors that had this issue, I believe some Samsung monitors? I'd appreciate any response or insight on what to do? I'd also like to note, I've tried several different displayport cables.
