Screen Stutter in Primamry Monitor if 2nd Monitor Turned Off

I have a Radeon RX 560 Series card with my primary monitor (Acer 2560x1440) and secondary Monitors (ViewSonic 1280x760) attached.

Right now I am stuck on the driver version 23.20.788.0 because every time I try to update, it results in the primary monitor having a stutter/lag issue if I turn the secondary monitor off.

Video and screen rendering are fine on both, as long as both screens are on.  I prefer to watch movies with the secondary monitor off, but would also like to kepp the drivers updated.

Suggestions please?
