AMD FX-9590 8-core 4.7 GHz Socket AM3+

Why is AMD putting out their fastest possessor for an old motherboard socket type?  I just upgraded to a AM4 socket MB just to find the fastest possessor uses a AM3+ MB that I just upgraded from!  Why is AMD unable to put out a 4.7 GHz possessor for the AM4?  Is this some sort of sick game?

Ryzen can handle 50% more instructions per clock than Bulldozer derived chips, meaning a mere 2.35ghz Ryzen chip is as fast as the 4.7ghz FX-9590.

Don't forget that it also does it at less then half the wattage of the FX-9590 processors!
