hey guys recently updated my monitor to LG 29UM68-P and have a AMD 290 GPU

theyre connected with a 1.4 DP cable (fully supports 1.2 as well)

but i can't seem to get freesync to run

GPU: Sapphire R9 290

OS: win10 64 bit

cable: Paugge 1.4 DP VESPA certified

monitor: LG 29UM68-P

it says "not supported" on amd settings, tried a lot of things including, clean amd driver installs, monitor driver updates etc still cant get it to run

also tried turning freesync on the monitor panel and setting hz to 75 on windows,

still freesync is not supported on the amd display settings..

any ideas to understand what the problem is here would be much appreciated.

im not trolling in the least

but my english is not my native language so maybe that may be causing comm. problem i dunno

why do you think im trolling m8? i have a legit problem over here.
