i have Acer nitro 5 having Ryzen 5 2500u, the cpu is not hitting 3ghz while on battery even under high performance settings is my cpu/motherboard faulty ?

i have Acer nitro 5 having Ryzen 5 2500u cpu,

the all core max speed on battery is 1.6Ghz and

while on charging it is hitting 3 Ghz on multi core and 3.6 Ghz on single core (only while plugged in)

my question is that even on high performance the cpu doesnt go beyond 1.6Ghz (on battery)  is there something wrong with my cpu/motherboard ?

It's a normal system operation.

When gaming on laptops you should plug in into a wall outlet for high performance power requirements.

Most laptops enable "power saving" features when on the battery to prolong battery life.

the thing is i also have another laptop, its hp with intel i5 processor but it goes to full cpu speed on high performance under battery only. so i was thinking if acer nitro 5 laptop wants to save battery why not stay at its base clock frequency which is 2Ghz instead it is @1.6Ghz on battery.
