APU & GPU at the same time - multi-monitor setup

Hello,

I have RYZEN 3 2200G and the motherboard Gigabite AB350N-Gaming that has DisplayPort and HDMI.

I need to run six (6) separate monitors.

Will APU and GPU (some GPU with 4 video ports) will work together allowing me to connect separate 6 monitors?

Thanks.

See if this AMD Website on Multi-Monitor Setup FAQ will help you: Multi Monitor FAQ

Here a couple of Thread from Reddit concerning Multi-Monitor hookups with Ryzen APUs:

Do you have any updated info?

I tried 2200g + a cheap R7 240 both AMD products and regardless what I do, it will not allow multiple monitors across the Apu and Dedicated GPU, forces me to choose one or the other. I

I force the BIOS to do APU as primary output it only works during bios launch then in windows it goes black or crashes with an error that gets displayed on the dedicated GPU.

Poor computer is so confused.

I suggest you open a AMD SERVICE REQUEST (AMD SUPPORT) from here : https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form

Ask AMD Support if you can use an APU and GPU card together like in Crossfire at the same time to connect 6 monitors. Most likely you would need to purchase a GPU card that support 6 Monitors.

I do know with the newer AMD GPU Cards you can have anywhere from 3 to 6 monitors connected via MST on the DP Port of the GPU Card plus using the GPU card other video ports to connect more monitors using Eyefinity : https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-014

Many AMD Professional GPU Cards support up to 6 Monitors. But they are a little bit more expensive than Consumer GPU Cards.
