What do I think? I think you've committed a cardinal sin of mathematics and performed mathematical operations between two different percentages, and you've drawn conclusions from that. You can't do that.
It's more like a ratio. The processors are mainly the same except for the underlying architecture and so to make the two ratios of Processor Clock:Benchmark Score comparable you multiply up the ratio of the processor clock for one processor and the ratios are now comparable. But i did miss out a step at the end so let me change it.
