Hello,

I'm not sure if I bought the right card.  My goal is to run a simple program which requires openGl 3.3.

On a Dell desktop running Windows 10 Pro 1803 64-bit

processor:  Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400@3ghz

Ram:  8g

The card is newly installed and automatically detected and it says the device driver (8.970.100.90010) was successfully installed.

The event log shows the following warning:

Can someone please point to installation instructions or let me know if I need a different card?

That card is not supported by AMD for Win10. You would have to use the drivers furnished by Microsoft. That driver will support basic web surfing...but not much else. You need a newer graphics card.

No additional driver releases are planned for these products.

The last operating system supported using the AMD drivers was Microsoft Windows® 8 with the AMD Catalyst 13.1 driver package, which can be downloaded from the AMD Driver page : http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Driver support for these products under Windows® 8.1 and Windows® 10 is only available via Windows Update. Please enable Windows Update to allow it to automatically detect and install display driver version 8.970.100.9001

If your system is equipped with one of these products, you may consider the following options:

• Continue using the last operating system that fully supported your graphics card.

Thanks so much for your quick reply.  I'm finding that the cards on the list are pretty expensive for what I need, so I  may end up just getting a new computer.  My power supply is 235 W so that may be an issue too.  If anyone knows of a card which will work on windows for under $100 and doesn't need a huge power supply, I'd love to hear about it.
