I have been experiencing multiple game crashes over the last 2 month and have been trying to find the root cause without luck. Below is a list of hardware and software used.

Latest attempt to resolve the problem included the following, update Windows, run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth & SFC /SCANNOW to resolve possible Windows issues. Run the AMD clean utility and installed the recommended driver for my system. Appropriate reboots between steps done. dxdiag show no issues. @Updated games and check Google. No clear way forward.

Some Steam games like Mafia III just crash as soon as game play should start without giving any message and WarThunder will work for some time at low resolution but crash with less than 60 min game play with memory issues.

System memory pass tests and do not show excessive usage during game based on history graph.

I’m willing to work with you to try and pinpoint the issue. Please advice on way forward.

What GPU are you using? What kind of crash are you experiencing?

Video: AMD Radeon RX460

Most game, Steam driven, just close completely as soon as game play would have started. Menu in the game seem to work fine.

WarThunder crash randomly by closing and giving a video driver failed, insufficient memory error.

How long have you been updating with 'minimal setup', maybe time for a full clean install of driver ?

As part of testing, I have done a full clean with the AMD utility and downloaded fresh driver from the web site. This did nothing to resolve the issue thus my request here. All the basic steps that Google search's gave me has failed to assist in finding a solution. As I have been only playing WarThunder for the last 6 months or so, it was an annoyance, but could play after a reboot. Now that I'm looking at some other games again, nothing works and is very frustrating.
