I use Nvidia GTX 1080 for many TV streams transcoding with ffmpeg to HEVC (H265). But the 8Gb of ram is to low. Each stream become 250Mb of GPU RAM.
So I want to know ENCODE maximum speed for RADEON PRO DUO POLARIS 32GB for using of this card in streams transcoding.
For Nvidia GTX 1080 with GP104 encode speed is - 2 stream of 4k video 60 Hz
// In theory
4k - 3840 x 2160 pixels, also encode speed can be calculated
2 (stream) x 3840 x 2160 x 60 = 995328000 pixels / second
so, for FullHD - 995328000 / 1920 / 1080 / 25 Hz = 19 streams
Can anybody ask me about Radeon Pro Duo encode speed parameters ?
